OVERVIEW

It is our great pleasure to announce the 2nd International Symposium on Frontiers in Materials Science (FMS) to be held in Waseda University at downtown Tokyo, Japan, November 19-21 in 2015. This symposium, which continues the successful 1st meeting in Hanoi, Vietnam in 2013, will be organized every two years. FMS 2015 will cover a wide range of research directions in basic and applied materials science.

In particular, the following topics will be addressed:
  • Magnetism and Nano-structured Magnetic Materials
  • Advanced Photonic Materials
  • Theoretical and Computational Materials Science
  • Microfluidics, Colloid and Polymers
  • Nano-scale Materials Characterization

  • Selected papers will be peer-reviewed for a Special Topic Issue of Journal of Applied Physics (AIP Publishing). Please visit Publication page for details.
